May 12  Spring 2015, Week 2 – FIGHT!!

Hello again! I have one quick update for you all: we’ve booked a room tomorrow (Wednesday) for our first Semi Organized Social event of the term. So here’s the events for the next week:

• SOS (Streaming) Night
  • Wednesday, May 13, 5:30 PM
  • MC 4060
  • We’ll be playing games and watching anime. Specifically, we’ll be streaming this week’s simulcasts on Crunchyroll, with a more informal setup than our usual shows. There’s no set schedule for this event – what we do / watch is decided by whoever shows up (i.e. you!)
  • This event will be the same time, same place every week this term.
• Clubs Days
  • Thursday, May 14 and Friday May 15, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • SLC Great Hall
  • Come by our booth to hear about the club, look at figures and artbooks, hang out, and maybe play the new Touhou games (if I’m there.)
• Show 1
  • Friday, May 15 at 4:30 PM and Saturday, May 16 at 1:30 PM
  • AL 116 (both days)
  • Schedule
  • Our first anime show of the term. Come watch some great shows, theatre-style! We’ll be watching 8 different series, 3 episodes each, plus a movie, and vote on which 5 series we want to keep watching throughout the term. Did I mention there may late night be gaming afterwards?
• General Meeting
  • Tuesday, May 19, 5:30 PM
  • MC 4064
  • We discuss club business and plan events. Hilarity ensues. Afterwards, we go out for dinner together.
