Jan 8  Events: Week 2 / Winter 2017

Hello everyone!

I hope everyone had a great week coming back to school (as much as possible that is) and meeting with friends again! After an eventful first week as the club, we are moving into an even busier and fun second week. Here are the events that will happen in chronological order:

• Monday, January 9^th, 2017, 5:30 PM @ MC 2034
  • First administrative meeting of the term:
    • We will get volunteers for the Clubs Day and Karaoke Set-Up
    • We will discuss the Ice Breaker event that will happen in the third week and get volunteers
    • If anyone has time, they can help our Publicity Officer Charley Liao to work on the Clubs Day poster (should be a fun crafts project :) )

• Wednesday, January 11^th, 2017, 5:30 PM @ MC 4058
  • Weekly Semi-Organized Social (SoS):
    • As usual, we will talk about anything (anime, games, classes, etc.), play any kind of games (bring your handhelds, laptops, tabletop games, if you wish), and generally meet with people and socialize
    • Courtesy of one of our members, there will be a showing of Love Live! μ’s Final Live during the SoS. So come along and support the cast of μ with us if you are interested! Glowsticks are not mandatory, but preferred :)

• Friday, January 13^th, 2017, 4:30 PM @ MC 2066
  • First official Karaoke of the term!
    • Free-for-all karaoke night!
    • You can sing any song you want (on the condition of them being clean and not TOO long)
    • Groups of up to three singers for a song are allowed
    • Come and meet up with fellow anime/gaming/singing people in a casual and fun environment!
