May 7  It’s Spring (2015, Week 1 & 2)!!

Hello, CTRL-A! Welcome back to Spring term or, perhaps, nice to meet you! The current date is May 7, aka T minus 49 hours until Reitaisai (or, if you prefer, T minus 15 days until Anime North). Here’s a rundown of our current events for the next week or so:

• Games Night
  • Friday, May 8, 5:30 PM
  • MC 2054
  • Exactly what it sounds like: a night of games. We don’t have any particular theme for this one, just bring whatever board games, trading card games, video games, or other types of games that you want.

• General Meeting
  • Monday, May 11, 5:30 PM
  • MC 4064
  • Our second meeting of the term. We’ll be planning events, discussing club business, then going out for dinner afterwards.

• Clubs Days
  • Thursday, May 14 and Friday May 15
  • SLC Great Hall
  • Curious what this whole “anime club” thing is about? Come by our booth to hear about the club, who we are, what we do, and admire the figures and other stuff our members inevitably bring to show off.
  • We’ll also have a TV set up for watching anime, but I’ll definitely be hijacking it to play 東方14.5 against any willing passerby.

• Show 1
  • Friday, May 15 at 4:30 PM and Saturday, May 16 at 1:30 PM
  • AL 113 AL 116 (both days)
  • Schedule
  • Our first anime show of the term. Come watch some great shows, theatre-style! We’ll be watching 8 different series, 3 episodes each, plus a movie, and vote on which 5 series we want to keep watching throughout the term.
