May 19  Long Weekend, Light Week

I hope everyone who came out to the show had a great time! Not too much going on this week in terms of CTRL-A events, I’m afraid. Take a look:

• Tuesday Meeting: Tuesday, May 20, 6PM, MC 2034. Different day, different room, thanks to the Victoria Day holiday.
• Games Night: Friday, May 23, 4:30PM, MC 2065. Games night technically kicks off this week, and you can go if you’re in town, but it will be a tad underpopulated thanks to…
• Anime North! Yes, the most anticipated anime convention of the year commences on Friday May 23 and continues over the weekend. If you’re already going you should know the details, so I won’t summarize the event here, though if you’re into Pokemon X & Y, come by the Sheraton Hotel and challenge the Pokemon Gym Leader Squad, of which I am a member. Also in the Sheraton Hotel at 5PM on Friday, check out the Yuri 101 panel in the Collingwood Room, co-run by your CTRL-A president, Josh.
• Sushi Lunch: Sunday, May 25, 1:30PM, Sushi-Ya. This is across the street from the TCC, during Anime North. An annual tradition, members of CTRL-A who are attending Anime North gather for lunch on Sunday. Try to make it if you can, and please RSVP in this thread if you plan to make it so we can get an idea of numbers.
