The Shows Are Done

Now that’s not to say we’re out of events. In addition to our regular weekday events that will continue for the next two weeks, we have the always wonderful EOT weekend to look forward to. So even though we say goodbye to anime for the term, stick around. You may find it worth your while.

  • Monday Meeting: Monday, March 17, 6PM, MC 4058. Further details regarding the end-of-term weekend will be discussed. If you want to attend the upcoming hotpot event, this meeting is a good opportunity to pay the $10 for that. (More details below.) Attack on Titan t-shirts have also arrived, so if you ordered one of those, you can pick it up here.
  • Project Night: Wednesday, March 19, 6PM, SLC 2134/5. Play games, watch anime, or work on projects (academic or otherwise), project nights are just general socialization nights where you can do basically whatever can be reasonably done in a room of the SLC. Come check it out on Wednesdays.
  • Games Night: Friday, March 21, 5:30PM, EV2 2002. Project night may feature games, but games are the focal point of our Friday games night. If you are a fan of games, bring your games (and be willing to play games others bring), and spend an evening at play.

That’s this week. Coming up the following weekend is the EOT weekend. Here are the details of that:

Karaoke Night will be held on Friday, March 28 at 4:30PM in AL 116. You can read up on the details and post what you plan to sing here. You may be embarrassed if it’s your first time, but come give it a try anyway. We promise you’ll have fun.

Hot Pot is the second major event we will be holding, on Saturday, March 29. Details such as location and time are still being worked out, but if you want to get together with fellow club members, eat some delicious food, and party late into the night, come check it out. To cover the cost of food, each attendee will need to pay $10 to eat. That will cover you for the whole night though. If you have any questions or dietary concerns, post in the forum thread or email the club secretary.

That’s all for this week. Have a good one.
