Dec 3  Until the New Year!

Sorry for the lack of update regarding the Monday meeting. I messed up scheduling this post.

With the last weekend behind us, let us wave a fond farewell to the Fall 2013 term. Club activities will resume on Monday, January 6 with our first meeting and executive elections. Be sure to save the date! (I’ll make another news post within a week of the event to kick off the new term.)

In the time between terms, feel free to keep up with our forums and Facebook page to stay in touch with members. Also, if you haven’t yet, please fill out our end-of-term survey. Your answers will help us shape future terms! There are also a few important questions regarding plans for Anime North 2014, so if you’re planning to go, please check it out!

If you haven’t been following our Facebook page, you may have missed that there will be screenings of the 3rd Madoka Magica movie at Galaxy Cinemas Waterloo on December 9 and December 15. The highly anticipated sequel to the original animated series should not be missed. Don’t worry if you haven’t seen the first two movies, as this movie is expected to pick up where the TV series left off. If you haven’t seen Madoka at all, check it out on Crunchyroll for free!

Also of note for anime fans, is that the TIFF will be screening 18 Ghibli films from December 13 to January 3. Check out the details here.
