While it may not be relevant to everyone, Pokemon X and Y are coming out on Saturday, October 12. 5 short days away. This week cannot pass quickly enough.

But enough about that (for now). There is CTRL-A stuff happening on this week, after all. Such as:

• Monday Meeting: Monday, October 7, 6PM, MC 4058. Please come to this meeting if you are interested in volunteering to help the club in its various tasks, most pertinently the above advertised Pokemon XY launch party. Meetings are the place to go if you want to be involved behind the scenes of the club.
• Project Night: Wednesday, October 9, 6PM, SLC 2134. A great chance to hang out with fellow anime/game fans and do whatever. I hear that there is some suspicious activity over here that may be worth checking out. Look into it and report to me your findings.
• Games Night: Friday, October 11, 4:30PM, EV2 2002. Non-show weekend means non-show games night. BYOG, you may call it. (Bring Your Own Games). I’m sure if you don’t, other people will bring their games, but I would like to avoid the awkward scenario of a group full of people and no games. Why take that chance? Break out your best video, card and board games, and play!

• Pokemon X and Y Launch Party and Movie Marathon: Saturday, October 19, 2:30PM, AL 116. If you want to be the very best, come play Pokemon X and Y with us! We will be streaming six different Pokemon movies over the course of the event, and we can try out the multiplayer features of the latest installments of the Pokemon franchise. If you don’t play Pokemon, remedy that, and buy Pokemon X or Pokemon Y on October 12. It’s what all the cool kids are doing. You are cool, aren’t you?
