Oct 15  The Calm Before the Storm

Soon…soon there will be an event of such wonder and majesty, that scholars will speak of it for generations. Hopefully they have good things to say, but that’s on us. Your job is just to attend and have a great time at our 20th anniversary celebration. All are welcome, whether you are currently in the club, formerly in the club, or never in the club at all, we welcome you to come and celebrate the legacy and longevity of CTRL-A.

This week however is a typical one. Here’s the rundown:

• Monday Meeting: Monday, October 15, 6PM, ML 349. I’m sure there will be much planning for show 2 and the 20th event. Beyond that, it’s anyone’s guess. Except the president, of course. He kinda has to know.
• Project Night: Wednesday, October 17, 6PM, SLC 2143. It’s getting close! Just two more project nights until the 20th anniversary, so if you have anything planned that still needs work, get to it! In general, this is a great event for hanging out and chatting as well.
• Games Night: Friday, October 19, 4:30PM, ML 354. Where would an anime club be without games? No, they don’t necessarily go together, but a lot of anime fans also like games. Don’t ask me why, it is just so. If you are among this group, you can come play board/card/video games on Friday. Played games are subject to game availability. Feel free to bring a game of your choosing.

I don’t think I’ve yet mentioned the 20th anniversary event, so I’ll do that here. If you are interested in volunteering to run an event or for general help, head over to the planning forum and declare your intentions.
