Oct 29  Here’s To 20 More

And with that, our 20th anniversary celebration comes to a close. Sad, yes, but the world must move on. Next year we can celebrate our 21st, though in such a grandiose style I cannot guarantee at this time. We hope everyone had a great time though. Thank you very much to all of our attendees, and especially our volunteers for helping to make our anniversary celebration a rousing success. Let’s see to it that CTRL-A is still around in another 20 years.

Of course, no one said we were finished. Events continue on schedule this week, and that means:

• Monday Meeting: Monday, October 29, 6PM, ML 349. Looking forward to the future, we have show 3 to plan, among other things.
• Project Night: Wednesday, October 31, 6PM, SLC 2143. Any pending 20th anniversary projects were (hopefully) completed, but that doesn’t mean you can’t move on. There’s always something to do, and why not do it in a room filled with fellow anime fans. Also a great opportunity to sport your Halloween costume.
• Games Night: Friday, November 2, 4:30PM, ML 354. I don’t know if we can match the level of gaming we achieved at the 20th anniversary, but feel free to take that up as a challenge and prove me wrong. Still always fun though. Never a dull moment with games night, unless you choose not to participate in the games.
