Happy Canada Day!

Hope everyone enjoyed their respective Canada Day celebrations yesterday. Busy weekend, so I’ll make this quick. Here are the events for this week:

  • Tuesday Meeting: Tuesday, July 3, 6:30PM, MC 4063. Same time & place, different day. We can’t book rooms on stat holidays, you see. So join us instead on Tuesday.
  • Project Night: Wednesday, July 4, 6:00PM, SLC 2143. Naturally, there will be more project night. If you’ve never been, check it out. It’s  more awesome than it sounds.
  • Games Night: Friday, July 6, 4:30PM, MC 4063. Another games night? No, you aren’t imagining things. Come play the games with us this Friday!
  • 20th Anniversary Planning Teleconference: Saturday, July 7, 1PM EST, EIT 2053. CTRL-A has recently completed its 20th year in operation! To celebrate, we’re planning something special. Something big. But of course, it will be a lot of work, and will require a lot of discussion and forethought. The plan for this teleconference is to discuss among members old and new ideas for the event. If you want to get in on the early stages of this event, all are welcome to attend, either in person, or online. If you want to attend remotely, you can access it via our Skype address, “UW.CTRL-A”, without the quotation marks.

And don’t forget that next Monday features the CTRL-A Cosplay Café, ver. 2, from 12PM to 5:30PM in the SLC Multipurpose Room. Several of our members will be in costume and ready to serve you some tasty snacks for a reasonable price. If you want some good food in a lively, fun atmosphere, then check it out!

Much fun to be had by all. If you’re reading this, we expect to see you attending at least one of these events. If not, we will find you. We have that technology.
