May 13  Striving for Greatness

If any of our members happen to be mothers, then Happy Mother’s Day to you. If not, pass on the sentiment to each of your own mothers.

Hopefully you made it out and had a good time at show 1. If you’ve been with us for awhile, I’m sure you know what to expect, but here’s this week’s upcoming events:

• Monday Meeting – Monday, May 14, 6:30PM, MC 4063. Monday is fun-day with the CTRL-A general meeting. Come meet and discuss club business!
• Project Night – Wednesday, May 16, 6:00PM, SLC 2143. Project night continues strongly this week. Come work on your projects! Anime North is just around the corner too, so if emergency costume assembly is in order, do it here.
• Games Night – Friday, May 18, 4:30PM, MC 4063. Games night commences! This regular non-show Friday event is sure to enthrall with games of all sorts. Don’t miss it!

And that’s your week. Don’t forget that Anime North 2012 is coming up very soon, from May 25-27! Many of our members will be there, so be sure to look for us. The CTRL-A Gym Leader Squad will be there all weekend, so if you play Pokemon Black/White and are looking for a challenge, be sure to look for us!

Also, forum member kokiase is running a Maid RPG forum game this term! It promises to be incredibly silly, and tonnes of fun. If this sounds like something you’d get involved with, look no further than the CTRL-A forum. The sign-up thread can be found here.
