Yester-Term Summer '08 Schedule!

The following schedule is the estimated time I need for the shows I plan to show. I plan to go through everything to fine-tune the times. (It worked well for Burn Up Excess)

Start times are 12:00pm default. (Except the 1st marathon). Setup starts depending on if I feel like gaming before the show, so as early at 10am and as late as 11am. Takedown hardly takes fifteen minutes as the equipment is quite portable.

Update: I have all the DVDs I need for this term.

In anticipation for a new term (Plus it was suggested my giant schedule I posted in a different topic be moved here), the Summer '08 topic has begun.

I happen to know someone who owns Stellvia and who would likely be willing to lend it to the club for showing in volunteer shows. Would you like to be put in touch?

It's not too expensive, so either way is fine with me.

I will need to know by the 27th at the latest, since that is when I place my next anime order.

Also, if it is available to be loaned, would I be able to hold onto it for the whole term to help ensure that the material is available?

NOTE: To anyone wanting to set up a Volunteer Show, this 'matchmaking' service is something the club'll do for you. Don't have what you want to show? The club'll find it for you, all you need to do is make us aware of the need.

Update:

Stellvia has been obtained temporarily for the term.

Death Note #4 has been shipped. #5 and #6 are not available as of yet.

The Third #6 is not available as of yet. It should be available by the end of the month.

As for Death Note #5, the scheduled release date for that DVD is end of June which puts it a week after it is supposed to be showed. Therefore, I will likely have to slow down how many episodes of Death Note I can show for this term. If that is the case, I will see about either ending the shows sooner or finding a 1-2 episode substitute to show, kinda like with Dragon Slayer.

Big changes made to the schedule, mostly to accommodate Tenchi Muyo (and it's chaotic episode times), Bastard, the lack of Death Note episodes and possibly my ego.

The biggest change was made to the first marathon (June 28th). As running two full smaller series could make for a very long-running marathon, I have decided to keep with the fantasy-theme for the day. Bastard will be shown along with an amateur production to follow afterwards.

Just a healthy boost of reminder about a certain little event on a certain little Saturday taking place at a certain little university.

Lots of new and continuing shows, plus an unusual activity during the dinner break... if you dare.

As with the tradition of last term, Show #1 summary.

Quiet, peaceful, calm, easy... words that could describe how things went. My only complaint was why the heck did my one DVD player keep switching over to english dialogue? ... I'll have to investigate and continue to tinker with my settings to get everything down right.

No activity this show though. Membership voted to continue showing more AMVs instead of making idiots out of themselves for fun and prizes... Can't figure out why...

Next show is in two weeks time on the 14th, across from MC2065... Also known... as... "MC2066" O_o;;; ...
